I was just looking at the Rally GB web site and I was surprised (shocked even) to see the entry fees. For British amateur crews the entry fee is £1500 but for other amateurs it is £2598. That is a big difference. How can they justify charging foreigners 73% more than British competitors? How can it be legal to do that? I would have thought race relations law and/or EU regs would prevent it. Are they trying to deter foreigners from competing?

Are you talking National event as the prices have come down. I must say I haven't seen anywhere that segregates foreign competitors for this event

No, not the national. I was looking at the full WRC event. May still consider it but have to say that the differential pricing is a real turn-off.

Started our campaign for the 3 day national. The support is fantastic I must admit.

What is the attraction of the national? Is it that you don't need a homologated car? Don't need an international licence? Lower cost? Would you not want to do the full WRC event?

With the National event it suites me from a budget prospective. I don't have much experience at the present moment for me to consider the WRC Challenge, I also feel this would be a to bigger step at the moment.
